Here's the write up: Lucas, a junior quarterback at Mound City High, led the Panthers to their third straight eight-man football title, the state's first three-peat, over St. Joseph Christian 46-24. In the championship game Lucas ran for two touchdowns and threw for a third, rushing for 187 yards and passing for 73. He led the team in rushing and rushing touchdowns and was named all-state.
